Steve Folsom
Treasurer
Steve is a retired electrical engineer serving thirty-five years with Northrop Grumman Corporation. The last twenty years of his work career was spent leading and managing a highly competitive group providing state-of-the-art data acquisition and instrumentation equipment. While at Northrop Grumman, Steve pulled together a group of dedicated program managers who saw the need to develop and teach new project leaders assigned to various programs the basics of running a successful project. Later on the company, as a prerequisite of becoming a project leader, adopted the course.
After caring for his three children, and having an empty nest, Steve became very active in his church. He served as head deacon and as an elder. In 2005 Steve became actively involved in prison ministry.
In 2012, he received training from Peacemaker Ministries in resolving everyday conflict and mediation. Today, he is a part of a Peacemaking Team that trains and coaches people on how to resolve business and interpersonal conflict.
In his spare time, Steve enjoys singing and playing his guitar at church, prisons, and nursing homes. He has a great sense of humor and loves life. Steve is married and enjoys spending time with his wife and experiencing the culture of her family.
