Our Mission

At What Is Your Voice, Inc., our mission is to empower and support survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, and related crises by providing skilled Peer Support Advocacy, holistic care, and pathways to long-term independence. Through a structured and therapeutic model, we guide individuals and families toward healing, self-sufficiency, and community reintegration.

Our Vision

We envision a future free from domestic violence, where survivors have access to the resources, support, and opportunities they need to heal, thrive, and reclaim their lives. By addressing the root causes of abuse, homelessness, addiction, and poverty, we aim to create a safer, more empowered community—in Sussex County and beyond.

Our Values

Empowerment – We equip survivors with the tools, knowledge, and support to regain their independence and self-worth.

Safety & Healing – We provide secure, trauma-informed services that foster emotional, physical, and mental recovery.

Community & Collaboration – We partner with local agencies, victim service providers, and volunteers to break the cycle of violence.

Holistic Support – We take a whole-person approach—nurturing the body, soul, and spirit through intensive aftercare, economic empowerment, and mental health support.

Advocacy & Justice – We stand for systemic change, ensuring survivors receive legal protections, housing, education, and employment opportunities.

Breaking the Cycle – We are tireless in our mission, addressing domestic violence, homelessness, addiction, poverty, and human trafficking to create lasting change.
